Basically a bunch of people missunderstanding if someone goes to work in festivals in the UK. They think it will be fun as hell. But it is not true. If you want to enjoy the time you have to work hard. This work is not take place in the best conditions. Some people have scary thought of picking up litter. We can not say English weather is warm. You need to have warm clothes at nights. I do not even want to speak about the rain. There is a fact that you have to live with unknown people for weeks. Sleeping in a tent is another problem for a lot of person. Besides that you can earn so much money in a short-term. You need to work hard to get this money. Take extra hours. Skip a day is not worth because you can lose 20 thousand Forint. Picking up litter can be positive too :D. You can not imagine how many things you can find. People left their ’’treasures’’ in the campings. ( I am not talking about money). In your free time you can do whatever you want. Your employer does not care but you have to be ready to work the following day. The 3 most important thing are the concerts, team and the consciousness that you are working in a different country. You can see their culture and traditions. You can go so many good concerts, forexample (Blink 182, Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Missy Elliott, Tom Jones) for FREE. To have a good relationship between the team members is also very important. I worked more seasons with this company. It means I could go more festivals and countries like Scotland. I could make a lot of relationships with forgin people. In this year i could go to the Atlantic Ocean. Furthermore, I tried surfing which was a dream for me. I can not imagine better way to end a season like this. You won’t even notice the negative things. So, if you want to work in festivals, then you need to find the balance between the work and the entertainment. As you got this, then you will not have any problem.
